What a day... thrown under the bus by someone in another department, beat down by the man, feeling less than appreciated at work.
Ahhh... but then to come home and get a hug from my son and at least a "hello" from his older sister :-) - Pre-teens... damn - I'm not ready for this. HA!
It was a day that I wish I could rewind... I want to find a new gig but feel some loyalty to where I'm at. I need to get over that part of it and just get my ass moving so that I can get on with things and get in a better situation. Right now there's no work/life balance and it's basically on-call 24 x 7 x 365 (not healthcare or law enforcement). With 2 kids, a wife, and a life outside of work, this is tough. Need an out but I don't want to quit just for the sake of quitting - gotta pay the bills, you know.
